Privacy Policy

FateFlix, operated by Bharath Kumar Adinarayan, helps you find films through astrology and connect with other film lovers. This policy explains what information the iOS app uses and what choices you have.

Information you provide

• Account: your sign-in identifier and the name, email address and profile photo supplied by Apple or Google, or that you add yourself.
• Birth chart: the birth date, time and place you enter, used to calculate your chart and personalize film picks. These details are private to your account.
• Social content: public profile details, watch history you publish, lists, ratings, comments, feelings, and interactions you choose to share.
• Messages: text and photos you send to other members, and the information needed to deliver and display them.

Information used by the app

With your permission, FateFlix uses your device location to determine the country for nearby cinema listings. The app stores a push notification token to deliver message alerts. Technical service logs may include device and connection information needed to operate and protect the service. FateFlix does not use advertising tracking or sell personal information.

How information is used and shared

Account, chart, social and message data are stored with Supabase. Apple and Google provide sign-in. Film metadata and artwork are obtained from TMDB; loading their images may contact TMDB's image service. Apple handles push delivery and location geocoding. Public profile content can be viewed by other signed-in members; direct messages are shared with the conversation participants. Reports may be reviewed to address abuse. We use information to provide the app, keep it working and respond to support or safety requests.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit or remove content you publish. You can delete your account in the iOS app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes the active account and related app records; some service backups may remain temporarily under provider retention schedules. If you cannot sign in or want to ask about access, correction or deletion, contact us by email. You can change location and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
